**Service Scope and Referral Limitations**
Contigo Child and Family is a part-time specialist perinatal and trauma counselling service. We do not provide case management, diagnostic assessments, or crisis or emergency mental health support. We are currently unable to accept referrals for individuals who are: experiencing psychosis or a restrictive eating disorder requiring specialized care; currently experiencing suicidal thoughts and unable to remain safe, or requiring urgent crisis support; engaged with child protection if there are current concerns about the safety of a child/children in their care; experiencing domestic or family violence without the involvement of a specialist domestic violence service; seeking therapy primarily for formal diagnosis or legal/court-related documentation.
**Referral Priority**
We prioritize perinatal referrals, including: pre-conception, pregnancy, and the first two years following pregnancy or birth.
