I provide parenting support and dyadic therapy to strengthen parent–infant and parent–child relationships. This work draws on attachment-informed approaches such as Circle of Security, Theraplay®, AutPlay®, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Child and Adolescent Schema Therapy, alongside other relational and attachment-focused frameworks.
Therapy supports parents to better understand their child’s emotional needs, communication, and attachment behaviours, while also developing greater awareness of their own responses, histories, and nervous system regulation. Through reflection, guided conversations, and shared parent–child experiences, parents are supported to offer both a secure base for exploration and a safe haven during times of distress.
This work includes a strong focus on supporting neurodivergent parents raising neurodivergent children. Using a neuro-affirming lens, therapy supports parents to understand their child’s individual needs, explore and affirm their own neurodivergent identities, and address challenges such as burnout. Attention is also given to identifying adaptations within the broader environment and systems around families, so children and parents can thrive.
