My name is Symon Oliveri, and I am the founder of Contigo Child and Family. The name Contigo, which means 'with you' in Spanish, reflects my commitment to walk alongside you on your journey in therapy.
As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience supporting families, I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science. I have also completed extensive training in trauma, attachment, and perinatal mental health.
I have had the privilege of working in diverse settings across Africa, Europe, and Central and South America. These experiences have shaped a deep respect for the various ways families parent, heal, and connect.
I understand the rollercoaster of parenthood. I am deeply passionate about providing support during the transformative journey of pregnancy, which is why I offer specialized pregnancy counselling. I recognize both the beauty and challenges of this time, believing it offers a powerful opportunity for healing and growth.
I provide support across the perinatal period, including preconception, pregnancy, and beyond. Additionally, I work with women outside the perinatal phase who are seeking trauma treatment, parenting support, as well as therapy for neurodivergent parents or those supporting neurodivergent children.
With a special interest and expertise in neurodivergence, attachment, trauma, and perinatal and infant mental health, I aim to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where individuals and families feel seen, heard, and empowered. I value strong therapeutic relationships and work flexibly to meet families where they are on their path to wellbeing.
